Little Black Dress

It's a bit disheartening when you wake up after staying at a neighbors house and the cats you are sitting are hiding from you. Bit I did find a full length mirror. Paired today with a Chicos traveller top that was a great thrift find. It adds some color 

Day 5. Aug 23 is hot in Florida. Even at 645 am it's almost too hot to be outside. My head is sweating but the dress does as promised...it wicks sweat away from my body. Little blind Annie suggested going back in the cooler house. Cat sitting week begins this afternoon so I'll have some new pet props. The scarf I'm wearing was a thrift shirt that had great material but hung really odd. This weekend was close cleaning so I cut it into this and tossed the rest 

Actually put in earrings today and a little makeup. Realized that work from home has made me lazy about my appearance. This is good therapy. The elephant top was a thrift find that didn't work so well because it showed too much skin. It works well with Sierra for a relaxed Sunday 

The sweater stayed on for just a moment. Team basic for the day with a necklace 

Nice to wake up and throw on the dress. Neely was my prop today as she is going on dog share for a few days tomorrow. I'm just amazed that in the humidity I'm not suffering in a wool dress. It will take some time to retrain my brain from hot and itchy to amazing and versitile. I will get to makeup some day soon!

I've accepted a challenge by Wool@ to wear one of their dresses for 100 days straight and to post a photo daily of the dress. I was so excited to open my package to see if the dress fit and how the material would work in humid, hot South Florida. No itchy wool here. This dress fits great and the material feels like luxury. I choose a black sleeveless Sierra for my challenge. I love black so wearing it for 100 days straight really shouldn't be a problem. Bit I'm sure everyone says that on day 1.  My challenge ends the Saturday after Black Friday Nov 29.
